The ARRI ALEXA Mini puts the ALEV III Super 35 sensor and ARRI colour science into a compact, light carbon body. This one carries the 4:3 and ARRIRAW licences, so it records RAW and shoots anamorphic as well as spherical.
The camera suits a studio build, a gimbal, a drone or handheld, and its images cut with other ALEXA cameras. Built-in motorised ND filters, over 14 stops of dynamic range and natural skin tones make it a dependable choice for drama, commercials and music videos.
The ARRIRAW licence records up to 3.4K Open Gate, and the 4:3 licence unlocks 4:3 and anamorphic formats, with a 2x de-squeeze in the viewfinder and on the SDI outputs. ProRes records at up to 200fps in HD and 2K. The body weighs about 2.3kg and the internal ND runs 0.6, 1.2 and 2.1. This camera is supplied in EF mount, rigged as a full shooting kit with viewfinder, handle and bridge plate.
