The ARRI ALEXA Mini LF is a compact large format cinema camera with the LPL lens mount and ARRI's ALEV III family sensor. It gives the look of large format glass in a body small enough for a gimbal, a Steadicam or a car mount.
The camera is designed around large format lenses such as ARRI Signature Primes, with an LPL mount that has the tooling and stability for full frame coverage. A PL to LPL adapter fits without tools, so existing PL lenses, Super 35 or full frame, can still be used. Images share the ARRI colour science and match other ALEXA cameras.
The sensor records a 4448 x 3096 open gate image, up to 40fps at 4.5K Open Gate, with higher frame rates in smaller formats. It offers over 14 stops of dynamic range. The body with LPL mount weighs about 2.6kg. It is built to ARRI's usual standard for sets, with the latest software supporting ARRI REVEAL colour science in post. The kit is supplied ready to rig.
