Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Art (EF)

The Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art is a fast wide-normal prime that stays sharp wide open, and a versatile everyday focal length. This one is in EF mount, with Hyper Sonic Motor autofocus.

It is a strong general-purpose lens for documentary, interviews and handheld work, where the f/1.4 aperture copes with low light. Sigma's optical design works to reduce coma, chromatic aberration and distortion, and the super multi-layer coating limits flare and ghosting. The nine-blade rounded diaphragm gives smooth out-of-focus areas, and it is a good fit on hybrid camera rigs.

The optical design is 13 elements in 11 groups, including one FLD and four SLD elements. Minimum focus is 0.3m, the filter thread is 67mm and the lens weighs 665g. It is the lighter of the Art primes in this range. It is an EF-mount lens with full-frame coverage.
