The Wooden Camera A-Box is a compact audio breakout box for cameras that only give you a single multi pin audio connector. It splits one 5 pin input into two balanced 3 pin XLR female connectors.
That lets you run a boom and a radio mic, or two separate line level feeds, straight into a RED V-Raptor, Komodo-X or Alexa Mini without an outboard mixer or an adapter cable. It keeps audio connections tidy and mounted on the rig rather than dangling from the camera body. It is a small, simple accessory, but it removes the need for a separate audio adapter or mixer on small and fast shoots.
It measures 97.4 by 40.1 by 38.4mm and weighs 209g. It mounts with a 19mm rod clamp and a bolt on 19mm rod is included, with a 15mm bushing needed if your rig runs 15mm rods. The kit includes the mounting screw, so it is ready to bolt onto a cage or top plate.
