Ultrabounce - 8x8

An 8x8 foot Ultrabounce, a bounce fabric used on a mid-size frame to turn a hard light into a soft, broad source. It reflects light evenly with little colour cast, which makes it a flexible fill for interiors, exteriors and portraits.

Ultrabounce is a heavy, non-translucent fabric, so it works best as a reflector. Aim a hard source at it and the light that comes back is soft and wide. An 8x8 is large enough to fill a face or a group but small enough to rig on two stands, which makes it quicker to set and move than a 12x12. The reverse side can act as a black flag. It is very opaque, so rig it on a frame and use sandbags on the stands in wind.

The fabric is 8 x 8ft (2.44 x 2.44m) and rigs on an 8x8 frame. One face is white for bounce and the reverse is black, so the same frame can be turned round to act as a flag.
