Tiffen ND 4x5.65 Filter Set

Tiffen neutral density filters reduce the light reaching the lens without changing the colour of the scene. This set is in the 4x5.65 size and lets you hold a wide aperture in bright light.

On a bright day, ND lets you keep the iris open for shallow depth of field, hold a 180 degree shutter and avoid overexposure without changing frame rate or ISO. The filters are colour neutral, so the grade stays clean, and you can stack them with diffusion or a polariser in the same matte box.

The filters are 4x5.65 inch (Panavision size), made with Tiffen's ColorCore process, which laminates the filter material between two pieces of optical glass ground flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. A 0.3 reduces the light by one stop, 0.6 by two and 0.9 by three. They fit any standard 4x5.65 matte box tray.
