The Teradek Bolt 6 LT 750 kit is a zero-delay wireless video system with one transmitter and two receivers, with a 750 ft line-of-sight range. It suits studio, interior and mid-sized location work where the camera feed goes to a director's monitor and a focus puller's monitor.
The near-zero delay makes it usable for pulling focus and operating, not only for watching playback. The kit is ready to rig: the transmitter and receivers come with antennas, short HDMI and SDI cables, 2-pin Lemo power leads with D-Tap to Lemo cables for running from camera batteries, Noga arms, a cold shoe mount and a light stand adapter. The Bolt 6 uses the 6 GHz band as well as 5 GHz, which helps where 5 GHz is crowded.
It takes 3G-SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs, with HDMI up to 4K and SDI up to 1080p, and the link is AES-256 encrypted. The transmitter and receivers are powered over 2-pin Lemo. Choose the 1500 ft Bolt 6 LT kit if the shoot has long distances or a lot of obstruction between camera and monitors.
