Stand - Matthews Baby Stand

The Matthews Baby Stand is a steel stand with a 5/8 inch baby pin, used on set for small lights, flags, arms and any grip piece that needs to stand on the floor. It is a standard piece of grip kit on any lighting job.

The stand has telescoping sections so it can be raised for a key or lowered for a floor light, and a steel base carrying three legs that fold for transport. The 5/8 inch pin takes baby-size fixtures and accessories directly, and an adaptor fits lights with a junior pin. It is the small stand in a grip package, the one to reach for when a light has to sit on a table, a low shelf or the floor without a large footprint.

The top is a 5/8 inch (16mm) baby pin, the standard size for small lights, flags and arms. The steel construction gives it the weight to stay put under a small head, and the legs fold flat for transport.
