The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm F4 G OSS is a full frame powered zoom for E-mount cameras with a constant f4 aperture. It suits documentary, event and interview work where one lens has to cover wide to short telephoto framing.

The power zoom is designed for smooth, quiet zooms during a take, and the f4 aperture holds across the whole range, so exposure stays steady as you zoom. Optical SteadyShot reduces shake on handheld shots. It suits a shoulder rig or a gimbal that can carry just over a kilogram.

The lens weighs about 1.22kg, takes 95mm filters and focuses from 0.4m at the wide end to 0.95m at the telephoto end. It has 18 elements in 12 groups. It is an E-mount lens covering full frame, so it fits Sony E-mount cameras such as the FX6 and FX9 directly, and other bodies through an adapter. The aperture is marked in f-stops rather than T-stops, so allow for a small difference when matching it to cine lenses.
