The SmallHD Cine 5 is a 5 inch on-camera monitor with a 2000 nit display that stays readable in daylight. It suits run-and-gun shooting, an operator's on-axis monitor and any rig where a bigger panel will not fit.
The 1920x1080 touchscreen has 440 PPI and 10-bit processing. Joystick control sits beside the screen, so menus and tools can be reached with a thumb while the camera is on a shoulder or a gimbal, with no touching of the screen needed. It also has a headphone jack for audio monitoring.
It takes 3G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 (4Kp30) in and passes both through as outputs. Power is a 2-pin locking input at 10 to 34V DC, and six 1/4-20 mounting points give plenty of rigging options. The kit's Hawk-Woods batteries, charger, Noga arm and Lemo power leads complete the rig. It is a light option for a small camera build.
