Sigma Cine Zoom T2 Set (PL)

The Sigma Cine Zoom T2 set is a pair of constant-aperture Super 35 zooms, 18-35mm and 50-100mm, in PL mount. Together they cover 18 to 100mm at T2, apart from a gap between 35 and 50mm, so two lenses give you most of the framing a set of primes would.

Both lenses hold T2 across the whole zoom range, so exposure does not change as you zoom. That suits documentary, interview and corporate shoots, and any job where changing lenses costs time. They share a 95mm front diameter, so one matte box and filter set serves both.

The 18-35mm weighs about 1.40kg and focuses as close as 11". The 50-100mm weighs about 1.89kg and focuses to 3'2". Both take 82mm filters and use a PL mount, and both are designed to cover Super 35. The pair is a practical way to carry a lot of focal range in one case. The 18-35mm is the wider lens and the 50-100mm the longer, so the pair does not overlap.
