The Sachtler FSB 8 MKII is a fluid head and 75mm bowl tripod aimed at small and mid-size cameras up to 12kg. It suits mirrorless, FX-style and lightweight cinema builds on documentary, interview and corporate shoots.

The head uses Sachtler's Speedbalance counterbalance, giving fifteen steps of fine balance plus a zero position, and seven steps of fluid drag for pan and tilt. The kit comes with the 75/2 AL MKII aluminium two-stage legs, a ground spreader, a sideload plate and a pan bar, plus 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch screws for the camera.

Payload is 0 to 12kg (26.5lb), with a tilt range of plus 90 to minus 70 degrees and a sliding range of 120mm on the plate. The system weighs about 5.3kg and the working height runs from 81cm to 171cm, with a 75mm bowl and integrated flat base. It packs to 88cm. Operating temperature is minus 40 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.
