The Sachtler aktiv10 is a fluid head on a Flowtech 100 carbon fibre tripod, built for speed of setup. It suits mirrorless and cinema cameras up to 12kg when you need to move quickly between positions.
SpeedLevel lets you release, level and lock the head in one action, and an illuminated PrismBubble confirms level from any height or angle, day or night. SpeedSwap and the sideload plate let you swap the camera on and off quickly. The kit comes with a ground level spreader and a bag, so it is ready for low angle work as well as standing height.
Payload is 0 to 12kg, with 15 counterbalance steps and seven drag settings for pan and tilt. The head has a 100mm bowl and the sideload plate gives 120mm of sliding range for balancing. The complete system weighs about 6.8kg. It pairs well with compact cinema cameras and mirrorless bodies for interviews, documentary and fast moving location shoots.
