V-RAPTOR 8K VV is the most powerful and versatile RED cinema camera yet. The flagship of RED's DSMC3 generation, it sits at the forefront of digital image capture for features, commercials and high end drama.

RED's latest camera uses the streamlined REDCODE RAW settings (HQ, MQ and LQ), giving simple format choices tuned for different shooting scenarios. Its multi-format 8K sensor (40.96mm x 21.60mm) shoots 8K large format or 6K Super 35 at the push of a button, so you can use any of your large format or S35 lenses and still deliver over 4K.

It captures 8K full sensor at up to 120fps (150fps at 2.4:1), 6K at up to 160fps (200fps at 2.4:1) and 2K (2.4:1) at 600fps, all with over 17 stops of dynamic range. It sits alongside RED's earlier MONSTRO 8K VV sensor as a large format option, and the REDCODE RAW workflow stays the same whichever format you choose.
