The Panasonic AU-EVA1 is a compact 5.7K Super 35 cinema camera with dual native ISO and an EF mount. It records 10-bit 4K internally in a body of about 1.2kg, which suits handheld work, gimbals and drones.

The 5.7K sensor (5720 x 3016) is oversampled to 4K, giving a detailed image, and dual native ISO of 800 and 2500 lets it move from daylight to dim rooms without added noise. V-Log and V-Gamut give about 14 stops of dynamic range and a wide colour space, with colour that matches Panasonic's VariCam line.

It records 4K at up to 60fps and 2K or Full HD at up to 120fps, with 240fps in a cropped mode, to two SD cards. Built-in ND filters give 2, 4 and 6 stops, and the IR cut filter can be swung out. Two XLR inputs, 4K SDI and HDMI outputs and timecode in and out cover professional workflows. The EF mount takes a wide range of lenses.
