Oconnor Ultimate 2575B Fluid Head - MOY

The OConnor 2575B is a classic heavyweight Mitchell mount fluid head for big cinema packages, such as studio cameras or large format bodies with a full lens and matte box. It is an older head that remains a proven workhorse for productions running Mitchell base legs or a MOY tripod.

It handles payloads that are too heavy for a standard 100mm bowl head, with OConnor's stepless sinusoidal counterbalance keeping the camera balanced through the full tilt range. Stepless fluid drag gives smooth pans and tilts even with a heavy load. It suits long lenses and fully built cameras that would overpower a lighter head.

Payload is up to around 40.8kg and tilt range is plus and minus 90 degrees. This kit comes with the Euro sliding plate and snap plate, a heavy duty pan bar and the MOY tie down for mounting to MOY pattern legs. Pair it with MOY tripod legs or a Mitchell base tripod, and check the rig weight against the head rating.
