The OConnor 1030D is a fluid head for ENG-sized and compact cinema cameras up to 30lb, here on 30L carbon fibre legs with a ground and mid-level spreader. It suits a documentary or drama kit that needs a head with real counterbalance on a tripod light enough to carry.

The head uses OConnor's sinusoidal counterbalance, which stays accurate at any tilt angle, with stepless pan and tilt fluid drag and a crank-style counterbalance control that pulls out of the rear. Pan and tilt brakes release with a single squeeze. The kit comes with a pan bar and the 1030D quick-release plate, plus 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch screws for the camera.

Payload is up to 30lb (13.6kg) at a 6 inch centre of gravity, with plus or minus 90 degrees of tilt. The head weighs 3.9kg, measuring 168mm high, 193mm wide and 117mm deep. The legs are carbon fibre 30L two-stage legs, supplied with a spreader.
