Metabones PL-E Mount Adapter

The Metabones PL to Sony E T adapter mounts PL cine lenses on Sony E-mount bodies such as the a7 series. It is a mechanical adapter, so the lens stays fully manual and mounts firmly on the camera without any play.

Both sides of the adapter are precision-machined brass with chromium plating, and the satin finish matches lens and camera mounts. The lens side has a leaf-spring structure that holds the lens tight, with no play or wiggle. The interior is matte black to keep internal reflections low.

It holds the correct registration distance, so PL lenses reach infinity focus and keep their optical quality, including lenses with floating elements. A detachable tripod foot is Arca-type compatible and supports the weight of heavier cine lenses. Sony bodies such as the FS7 and FS5 are on its compatibility list as well as the a7 range.
