Manfrotto 1004BAC Master Stand

The Manfrotto 1004BAC is a four-section air-cushioned master stand that goes from 124cm up to 366cm. It is a tall, light stand for key lights, backlights and flags, and the air cushioning keeps fingers and lamps safe when a riser is released.

The aluminium tube gives a light stand that is stable at height, and the four sections lock individually so you can set the height in steps. It folds to 107cm, which makes it easy to carry between locations. The 16mm (5/8 inch) male top stud takes most lights, and a 3/8 inch or 1/4 inch thread adapts to smaller fixtures. Use a sandbag on the base when the head is heavy or the stand is fully extended.

It carries up to 9kg and weighs 2.4kg. Closed length is 107cm and the footprint is also 107cm. The tube diameters are 35, 30, 25 and 20mm. Add a safety wire on any light above head height.
