Lightweight Stand

A lightweight light stand for small fixtures, LED panels, monitors and reflectors. It suits jobs where a full C-stand is more bulk and weight than the load needs, and it is quick to set anywhere.

It is the sort of stand you carry in one hand along with the head, which suits interviews, run-and-gun lighting and set dressing positions where space is short. A small footprint lets it sit close to furniture or in a doorway. It is quick to extend and lock off, which keeps small crews moving between set-ups without much fuss.

The stand folds down small for the van and extends with a standard baby or junior fitting for common grip heads and arms. It is not meant for heavy tungsten or large modifiers, so match the load to the stand and add a sandbag over a leg. For bigger fixtures use a combo stand or C-stand instead.
