Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine - PL

The Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine is an ultra-wide cine prime with a 122 degree angle of view and almost no geometric distortion. It covers full frame in a compact, light PL-mount body.

Zero-D means straight lines stay straight at 12mm, which is unusual at this width and valuable for architecture, interiors, car work and VFX plates. It works on cinema cameras and mirrorless bodies alike, and the close focus lets you get right up to a subject for dramatic perspective. The small, light body also suits gimbals, drones and tight car rigs.

The optical design is 16 elements in 10 groups with a seven-blade iris. The image circle is 44.7mm, close focus is 17.8cm and the lens weighs 675g at 87mm long. The front diameter is 102mm, and an included adapter steps it up to 114mm for standard matte boxes. This version is PL mount.
