The Kippertie Revolva RF/PL with NDs is a lens mount adapter and ND filter holder for RED Komodo cameras. It converts the native RF mount to industry-standard PL and comes with a filter cartridge, so it is ready to use out of the case.
Revolva does two jobs at once, as an adapter and as an integrated neutral density system with cinema-quality optics. The bundled cartridge carries a four-position rotating filter, so a different density can be dialled in by hand without opening a matte box or stopping the shoot.
This kit's cartridge holds clear, ND 0.6, ND 1.2 and ND 2.1, which covers most daylight exposure changes. Revolva RF/PL accepts any quick-change Revolva cartridge, so other ND or diffusion sets can be swapped in. It suits RED Komodo and V-Raptor, and it holds PL lenses firmly on a small body.
