The Kippertie Revolva RF/PL is a lens mount adapter that turns RED's native RF mount into industry-standard PL. It lets PL cinema lenses fit RED Komodo and V-Raptor cameras, and any other RF-mount body, with a rigid mount.
It is a lens mount and filter holder in one. Revolva takes quick-change filter cartridges, each carrying four filter positions in a rotating wheel, so neutral density sits inside the adapter rather than in a matte box. The kit includes the adapter, a support foot and a rear element tool.
The support foot carries the lens weight so the RF mount does not have to. The rear element tool lets you check that a lens clears the adapter before mounting it. No ND cartridge comes in this kit, so pair it with a Revolva ND cartridge set if you want the neutral density filters built in.
