Jumbo Knuckle

The Jumbo Knuckle is an Avenger D400 jumbo grip head, often called a lollipop, that turns a junior combo stand into an overhead stand. It lets you hold butterfly frames, modular frames and other large rigs over a set.

The head looks like the top of a traditional overhead stand and fits combo and universal stands with a standard 28mm (1-1/8 inch) receiver. It is usually fitted when you need a frame or silk flown overhead without a heavy overhead stand. The large grip head locks firmly onto the frame's mounting pin.

A 28mm pin mounts into the stand's receiver, topped by a 4-1/2 inch grip head and a 28mm receiver, so you work as you would with an overhead stand. It is made from steel and weighs about 2.35kg. Always check the whole stand is rated for the frame, and use sandbags on the legs when the frame is flown.
