Foldit Collapsible Cart

The Foldit is a folding aluminium utility cart for wheeling gear from the van to set when a full-size trolley is too big or will not fit in the lift. It folds flat for storage and opens in seconds.

It suits smaller crews moving cases, sandbags and grip kit across a location, and the big 20 inch pneumatic tyres roll over kerbs, gravel and cable runs where small castors would stall. The extendable handle and the axle position are set so that a heavy load stays balanced and easy to steer.

It carries up to 150kg over a 5.75 cubic foot bed and weighs about 15kg. Open it measures roughly 140 x 77 x 58cm, and it folds to about 104 x 24 x 56cm, so it stows upright in a van or at the back of a car. It pairs with hard cases, sandbags and stand bags as a van-to-set runner, and it stays out of the way once folded down and stood in a corner of the van or the production office.
