The Easyrig Vario 5 Strong is a gimbal rig vest that takes the weight of a camera or gimbal off the operator through a boom and a Stabil G2 arm. The Strong version is reinforced for heavier cinema packages.

The vest hooks to any camera with a handle using the camera hook, so it fits a wide range of bodies and rigs. The Stabil G2 arm adds stabilisation for gimbal work, folds for travel and locks at 90 degrees without jitter. It also has a hanger, so the rig can hang from a film cart or any edge between takes. The Vario 5 is designed and built in Sweden and has been in use since 2015.

The Vario 5 Strong lifts setups of about 14 to 25kg (30 to 55lb), and the Stabil G2 arm is rated for 5 to 25kg (11 to 55lb). The vest is the standard gimbal rig vest and is adjustable, so fit it to the operator before the camera goes on. It pairs with heavier cinema cameras and gimbals that would tire an operator quickly.
