The DJI RS 2 Pro is a professional three axis gimbal for filmmakers who need stability and precision with mirrorless and compact cinema cameras. It carries up to 4.5kg (10lb) and builds weight savings into carbon fibre construction.
DJI's Titan Stabilisation Algorithm keeps footage smooth even through dynamic moves. A 1.4 inch full colour touchscreen gives quick access to settings, and the dual layer quick release plates and several mounting options keep it flexible on fast production days. It handles longer lenses and bigger rigs better than the standard RS 2.
The tested payload is 4.5kg (10lb). The carbon fibre axis arms keep the weight down without giving up strength, which helps on long handheld takes. The Combo adds the accessories needed to extend the gimbal, such as a handle and a focus control. Check the weight of the rig with lens and matte box before planning on it.
