The Dana Dolly is a portable track dolly that rolls on lightweight aluminium pipe, giving smooth tracking shots in a very small package. This universal kit comes with 3m of track and universal track ends so it can sit on a range of stands.
The platform rides on 16 soft polyurethane wheels that resist flat spotting, with ABEC-7 precision bearings, which keeps moves smooth along the whole length of track. It is a good choice for low, simple dolly shots where a full size dolly and track would be slow to rig. A Mitchell mount on the platform takes the camera or a fluid head.
The platform is machined 6061 aluminium, measures 14 by 10 inches (35.6 by 25.4cm), weighs 5.9kg and has a load capacity of 45.4kg (100lb). The track is schedule 80 aluminium pipe, 3m long and machined and threaded at the ends. Choose the stands to suit the ground and the height of the shot.
