The Cooke S4/i is the standard Cooke prime set, a PL-mount T2 range with the classic Cooke look. It gives controlled flare and distortion and a warm, natural image on Super 35 cameras.
S4/i is one of the most widely used prime sets, valued for its natural rendering of skin tones and its close focus, and for matching other Cooke ranges, including Mini S4/i and Cooke anamorphics. Integrated /i Technology records lens data such as focal length, focus distance and aperture, which helps VFX and shot matching. It is a long-standing choice for features and commercials.
The lenses open to a true T2 and close to T22 on all primes except the 300mm. They cover Super 35 with a 30mm image circle, and most of the range shares a front diameter of 110mm, so matte box changes between lenses are quick. The range is PL mount and runs from 12mm to 300mm.
