Cooke S4/i 27mm T2

The Cooke S4/i 27mm T2 is a wide-to-normal lens in our Cooke S4/i range, a Super 35 prime in PL mount.

At T2 it works in low light. It suits general coverage, walk-and-talk shots and interiors where a slightly wider look than a 32mm is wanted. Close focus is 10". Cooke S4/i lenses are matched across the range, so the 27mm cuts with the other S4/i primes we hold. Cooke's rendering is warm and smooth with a gentle fall-off, so skin tones and highlights look natural without extra diffusion. The /i contacts record lens data such as focal length, T-stop and focus distance, which helps visual effects and virtual production.

The lens weighs 1.61kg and has a 110mm front diameter, the same as most of the series, so a matte box and filter set carry across. It is a PL mount lens covering Super 35, with an aperture range of T2 to T22.
