The cmotion Steady Zoom is a compact zoom controller for ARRI cameras, with a force-sensitive joystick on a pan bar clamp. It lets one operator pan, tilt and zoom from the same handle.
It connects through LBUS, so it can drive a cforce motor directly as a stand-alone solution, with no other controller in the chain. Sensitivity can be adjusted to prevent accidental movements, and two extra buttons under the clamp bring the total to four assignable buttons, such as camera start and stop. It is light enough to stay on the rig all day, with a pan bar clamp that is quick to fit.
The clamp fits any rod from 15 to 32mm, so it suits most pan bars and handles. It works with the ALEXA Mini and Mini LF and with cmotion cforce motors. This kit pairs the controller with a cforce Plus motor, a pan bar clamp and a rod adapter to mount the motor on the lens.
