Century Optics Nikkor 8mm T2.8 Fisheye

The Century Optics Nikkor 8mm T2.8 Fisheye is a fast, full-frame fisheye lens in PL mount with a 180 degree field of view. It gives dramatic, immersive perspectives from very close to the subject.

The lens uses a dome front element and produces a traditional circular fisheye image on smaller sensors, with a black circle around the picture. It is useful for music videos, action, tight interiors and any shot that benefits from extreme distortion. Because it focuses very close, the subject can almost touch the lens.

It has a maximum aperture of T2.8, 10 elements in 8 groups, a front diameter of 123mm and a weight of about 1.25kg. The mount is PL, and the field of view is 180 degrees. It works with a camera body that has a PL mount, and because of the dome front it needs careful handling to avoid scratches. It suits music videos, action and tight interiors.
