Big Ben Clamp - Junior Pin

The Big Ben clamp locks onto scaffold or truss pipe and gives you a junior pin to drop into a junior stand or high-roller. It is a quick way to rig a fixture off a pipe grid, safety rail or piece of scaffolding.

A Cheseboro-style clamp bites the pipe and holds it firmly, so you do not have to build a dedicated stand position. It is useful when a floor is busy or there is no room for a stand, or when you want a light fixed at height on existing pipe. Add a safety cable to anything you hang from it.

The clamp takes pipe from about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches in diameter and weighs around 1.5kg. A 1-1/8 inch junior pin on the back takes junior-fitting heads and arms. It can also be paired with a junior stand to rig a pipe at ground level. Check the pipe or scaffold can take the load before hanging anything heavy.
