ARRI/Zeiss Ultra Prime Lens Set (5) (PL)

ARRI/Zeiss Ultra Primes are fast, clean cine primes with matched colour and contrast from lens to lens. This five-lens PL set suits productions that want consistent, transparent glass rather than a vintage character.

Distortion is well controlled and breathing is kept low, so cuts between focal lengths sit together without a regrade. The lenses are built for quick changes on set, with a uniform front diameter and consistent focus and iris ring positions that keep the matte box and follow focus in place from lens to lens.

The set is T1.9 throughout, on PL mount, and covers Super 35. The Ultra Prime range uses a common 95mm front diameter, and the lenses weigh around 1.0 to 1.2kg each. That makes the set a dependable workhorse for Super 35 cameras, though for full frame or large format work you would reach for a different set.
