ARRI/Zeiss Master Prime Lens Set

The ARRI/Zeiss Master Prime set is a benchmark high-speed cine set at a constant T1.3. Minimal breathing, distortion and contrast shift mean a cut between focal lengths reads as one continuous image.

Master Primes are a standard choice for features and high-end television, where a wide stop has to hold up in the grade as well as on set. Dual floating elements control close-focus performance and breathing, and aspherical elements keep chromatic aberration low. The iris has at least nine blades for smooth bokeh with a distinct focus fall-off.

This set covers 18mm to 75mm in PL mount with integrated LDS metadata, within a range that runs from 12mm to 150mm. Most lenses share a 114mm front diameter, and the T*XP coating reduces flare and reflections under hard sources. Coverage is Super 35, so the set suits Super 35 cameras and cropped modes on larger sensors.
