The Aputure Storm 400x is a 400W bi-colour LED monolight covering 2,500K to 10,000K, with green-magenta control across the full range. It is a practical mid-size source for large soft light, fill and interior key work, and light enough to move around a location quickly.
The lamp head and control box are separate, joined by a 3m head cable, so the head stays small on the stand while the box sits out of the way. The kit includes the 55 degree hyper reflector, a lightning clamp, a COB protector cap and a powerCON cable, and Bowens-mount accessories such as the CF7 Fresnel fit directly.
Maximum power output is 400W from a draw of up to 500W, on 100 to 240V mains. Colour quality is rated CRI and TLCI of 95 or above. The lamp head with yoke weighs 3.95kg, the control box 3.00kg, the head cable 0.51kg and the lightning clamp 0.65kg.
