The Aputure Nova P300c is a 300W RGBWW LED soft panel, the first in Aputure's Nova line. It gives a broad, soft source with accurate skin tones and a wide range of colour, from tungsten warmth to cool blue.
The panel adds warm white and cool white LEDs to the usual RGB chipset, which increases output, skin tone accuracy and tonal variety compared with RGB or RGBW fixtures. A 120 degree beam gives a wide wrap of light from close range. It works as a key, a large fill or a colour effects light, and suits interviews, product work and smaller sets.
Output is over 9,000 lux at 1 metre. Colour temperature runs from 2000K to 10000K at CRI and TLCI of 95 or better, with a peak tungsten SSI of 85. The panel draws up to 360W and is actively cooled. Its larger sibling, the Nova P600c, gives twice the output where a bigger source is needed.
