The Aputure LS 60x is a 60W bi-colour LED with a built-in focusing lens that adjusts the beam between 15 and 45 degrees. It is small, weatherproof and runs from mains or batteries, so it works as a compact hard or soft source on location.

Aspherical optics focus the beam inside the head, so you can go from a tight spot to a wide flood without swapping a modifier. Eight-leaf barndoors are included, and the Bowens mount adapter lets you fit soft modifiers such as the LS 60 Softbox. The Spotlight Mini Zoom attachment adds gobo projection with a 15 to 30 degree beam.

Colour temperature runs from 2700K to 6500K, and in full spot the head gives 30,000 lux or more at 5600K, falling to over 5,200 lux in flood. It weighs about 1.8kg and is dust and water resistant. Power comes from the AC adapter, a dual Sony NP-F plate, or a V-mount or D-Tap battery on the yoke receiver.
