The Aputure LS 600d Pro is a 600W daylight COB LED that approaches the output of a 1200W HMI while drawing 720W at most. It is weather resistant and flexible on power, so it works as a main source indoors and out.

Because it draws far less than an HMI, you can run more than one from a single household circuit. The multi-voltage battery plates take V-mount and Gold mount batteries at 14.4V, 26V and 28.8V and can recharge them from mains between scenes. The control box also accepts 48V DC over a 3-pin XLR from power stations or block batteries.

Output is 5600K daylight at CRI and TLCI of 96 or better, with 8,500 lux or more at 3 metres through the included Hyper Reflector. Fitted with the F10 Fresnel in a 15 degree spot it reaches 29,300 lux at 3 metres. It is built to withstand light rain and water spray, and the Bowens mount takes the usual softboxes and domes.
