The Aputure LS 1200d Pro is a 1200W daylight COB LED built to stand in for an HMI on big exteriors and large interiors. It is a single point source with real reach, at a fraction of the weight and setup time of an equivalent HMI.

The head takes the full range of Bowens-mount reflectors, domes and modifiers, so it can be a hard source for sun or a very large soft source through a big dome. Power comes from mains through powerCON or from two 48V battery inputs, with half output on one input and full output on both. Control is on-board, over Sidus Link or by DMX512.

With the Hyper Reflector (narrow) it puts out 83,100 lux or more at 3 metres, fixed at 5600K with CRI of 96 or better and TLCI of 98 or better. Maximum draw is 1,440W. The lamp head weighs 8.95kg with its yoke and the control box 5.8kg. Art-Net and sACN run over etherCON, and wireless control is by Sidus Link or LumenRadio CRMX.
