Aputure Barn Doors (Bowens)

Aputure barn doors for Bowens-mount heads. They fit over the front of the reflector to shape and cut the beam, keeping spill off walls, lenses and set dressing, and giving you a cleaner edge to the light on a face or a background.

The leaves open and close to restrict the beam in one or both directions. On a hard source they help you create a defined edge and a cleaner cut-off. On a softer source they cut spill without needing a separate flag, which saves a stand on a small set. They also keep stray light off the lens, which reduces flare when the head is pointed towards camera.

They are designed for Aputure Bowens-mount heads and attach at the front of the reflector. The larger Fresnel modifiers, such as the CF12 and CF7, come with their own barn doors, so these are the ones for the open reflector.
