Angenieux Optimo 45-120mm T2.8 Zoom Lens

The Angenieux Optimo 45-120mm T2.8 is a lightweight telephoto cine zoom for Super 35 cameras, in PL mount. It holds a constant T2.8 aperture throughout its range and suits handheld and Steadicam work.

The lens has minimal breathing and ramping, so focus pulls and zooms look clean. It is compact for a cine zoom and works handheld, on a Steadicam or on a crane. A 114mm front diameter matches other Optimo lenses and means matte boxes and filters carry across. It is a dependable telephoto zoom for crews who already work with other Optimo lenses.

It covers 45 to 120mm, a 2.7x zoom, at a constant T2.8, with Super 35 coverage of 31.4mm diagonal. It weighs about 1.95kg. Close focus is 3 feet 1 inch (0.94m) from the front, and the focus ring rotates through 320 degrees. It pairs with the Optimo 15-40mm T2.6 to cover wide to telephoto. It also works on cranes and tripods.
