13A Electrical Extension Reel - 10m

A standard UK cassette-reel extension lead for when the wall socket is not where the power is needed on set or on location. It has four shuttered 13A sockets and a retractable winding handle.

A built-in thermal cut-out protects the cable if it is used while part-wound, and the reel keeps a long run tidy, quick to deploy and quick to wind away. The cassette design is neat in a van, and the four sockets mean a small bank of chargers, a laptop and a work light can all share one reel.

It carries 10m of 1.25mm squared H05VV-F cable and complies with BS EN 61242. Fully unwound it is rated at 3120W (13A), but it falls to 720W (3A) if left coiled, so run it out fully under load. It pairs with chargers, laptops, small lights and any other mains kit within reach of a socket, and the 25m version of the reel covers the longer runs from a house supply or a generator.
