12x12 Modular Frame

A 12x12 foot modular butterfly frame, built from square aluminium tube sections that pin together. It holds a 12x12 silk, solid, grid or bounce overhead and is used for exterior day work, where it softens or flags sun over a whole scene.

The frame is modular, so the same sections build a 6x6, an 8x8 or a full 12x12 depending on the fabric you are rigging. Tube sections slot and pin-lock together, which makes assembly and strike quick on a location. The kit includes eight end frame sections, four middle sections, four frame corners and two butterfly frame grip ears, which are what attach it to the stands or overhead rig. Rig it on solid stands with sandbags and keep an eye on the wind once a fabric is on it.

The assembled frame measures 12 x 12ft (366 x 366cm), is made of aluminium and uses 3mm square section tubes. The complete Avenger H1200M frame weighs 19kg.
